From 15-17 June 2026, the 20th Silicon Saxony Days bring together over 1,000 participants from across Europe’s high-tech ecosystem in Dresden. As one of Europe’s leading high-tech and networking events, it connects industry, research, startups and policy to exchange insights and build partnerships across regions and the entire value chain.
The project SEMICONDUCTOR-X is contributing with two exciting events:
🎤 Harald Gossner: „Resilient Semiconductor Supply Chain by Advanced Digitalization“

The presentation demonstrates how digital twin technologies support the planning, management and optimisation of semiconductor supply chains. It focuses on practical use cases across the entire value chain – from wafer manufacturing to delivery – as well as collaboration between equipment manufacturers and fabs. It also examines security requirements and international standardisation.
🛠️ Workshop: Experience Manufacturing-X

Together with SCALE-MX and the Smart Systems Hub, participants will develop initial use-case ideas with tangible added value based on real-world challenges. The SEMICONDUCTOR-X demonstrator for subfab maintenance optimization will provide a hands-on experience of how data spaces, role models, and technical components interact in practice.
