What an inspiring two days at the 6th Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days last week on July 2–3, 2026 at ARENA2036! The event once again brought together developers, architects, innovators, and industry experts who are shaping the future of sovereign and collaborative data spaces.
The SEMICONDUCTOR-X team was proud to actively contribute to the discussions, workshops, and community exchange represented by Haris Avgoustinos, Ingolf Gehrhardt, Hans Kittelmann, and Tobias Kutzler.
Under the Manufacturing-X panel discussion, Tobias Kutzler joined experts from Railway-X, Construct-X, Chem-X, Wind-X, and ReDriveS to discuss opportunities, challenges, and the future of data spaces across industries.
Cross-data spaces were one of the hottest topics throughout the event. Together with Arno L. Weiß (Factory-X – The Digital Ecosystem / SAP) and Shubham Thakkar (Smart Systems Hub), our colleagues Hans Kittelmann and Ingolf Gehrhardt led a highly attended workshop exploring how different ecosystems can collaborate and exchange data seamlessly. In parallel Tobias Kutzler presented the practical implementation of cross-data spaces using the Hannover Messe demonstrator from SEMICONDUCTOR-X developed by Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden and Smart Systems Hub, showcasing how data ecosystems interoperability can become reality.
Another important contribution came from Haris Avgoustinos, who together with Pascal Birnstill, highlighted the critical role of end-to-end security and open-source development in building trustworthy data space solutions.
And of course, no Tractus-X Community Days would be complete without the legendary Tractus-X Jeopardy! Congratulations to Angel Yao Zhan (LKS) as well as our team members Hans Kittelmann and Ingolf Gehrhardt for securing an impressive 3rd place. 🏆
