The 5th Tractus-X Community Days are in the books!

The SEMICONDUCTOR-X project was once again delighted to take part in the Tractus-X Community Days to exchange expertise and learn new things! But this time, we also played an active role with our own contributions!
In their workshop on “Manufacturing-X End-to-End Security in Dataspace” Haris Avgoustinos from EXPO21XX and Pascal Birnstill from Fraunhofer IOSB demonstrated how important a cybersecurity business and architecture view is in order to increase impact and adoption. We have taken away important and interesting suggestions and ideas, which we will follow up on in the Topic Group and in our working groups within the project.
In their workshop „Use Case Traceability in SEMICONDUCTOR-X and cross dataspaces“ Tobias Kutzler from Fraunhofer IFF and Ingolf Gehrhardt from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden presented the challenges facing traceability in the semiconductor industry and the solutions offered by SEMICONDUCTOR-X that could deliver enormous optimization and savings potential. However, traceability does not end with the end product at the end of the supply chain in the semiconductor industry, as this is then incorporated into products in other industries, such as the automotive industry. It was therefore just as important to address the issue of cross-dataspace exchange! Thanks to Arno L. Weiß for an interesting exchange of information and immediate exploration on cross data space communication topics as well as Markus Reisch from Smart Systems Hub for your support with your Explore & Learn Environment.
Many thanks to the SEMICONDUCTOR-X project team for your participation and representation of the project:
Pascal Birnstill, Haris Avgoustinos, Tobias Kutzler, Ingolf Gehrhardt, Per-Henrik Addicks
As always, many thanks to the ARENA2036 team for organising and hosting the event:
Heike Wohlfeld, Bahaa Ziadah, David Görzig, Georg Schnauffer, Johannes Diemer
Of course, we would also like to thank Stephan Bauer and Mathias Brunkow Moser for guiding us through the event and the sessions!
We don’t have to just break down silos only in one ecosystem – we have to break them down between all industries to get efficient and more resilient ecosystems!
Our team has planned to join for the Sixth Tractus-X Community days in spring next year. Stay tuned to be the first to find out what we have planned!
